Enhanced Checkout Options – Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Thank you for using Enhanced Checkout Options (“the App”), available through the Shopify App Store. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access and use of the App. By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Definitions

  1. “We”, “Us”, or “Our” refers to the developers and operators of the App.

  2. “You” or “Merchant” refers to the Shopify store owner or authorized user installing or using the App.

  3. “Services” means the features and functionality provided by the App.

  4. “Data” refers to any content or information submitted to or collected by the App.

3. Eligibility & Merchant Responsibilities

  1. You must have a valid Shopify store and be legally authorized to enter into agreements on its behalf.

  2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Shopify account credentials and for any activity occurring through your store’s use of the App.

  3. You agree not to use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.

  4. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or interfere with the App’s functionality or security.

4. App Usage & Functionality

  1. The App provides a way to add custom options (checkboxes, radio buttons, dropdowns) to the cart, mini-cart, and for Shopify Plus merchants, also the checkout.

5. Pricing and Billing

  1. The App may offer free and/or paid plans with features as listed on the Shopify App Store.

  2. All fees are billed through Shopify and are subject to Shopify’s billing policies.

  3. Unless otherwise stated, all fees are non-refundable.

6. Data and Privacy

  1. We only access the minimum required store and order data needed to deliver the App’s functionality.

  2. We do not sell or share personal information. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.

  3. We may collect anonymized usage data to help improve the App and user experience.

7. Termination and Uninstallation

  1. You can uninstall the App at any time through your Shopify admin. Upon uninstallation, all App access and data processing will cease.

  2. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or abuse the service.

8. Limitation of Liability

  1. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the App.

  2. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the six (6) months prior to the claim.

9. Changes to These Terms

  1. We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via Shopify’s admin notifications or email.

  2. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Spain, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.
